The Hawthorne Trees is a romance fantasy series about the discovery of two worlds, places thought to only exist in childhood fairytales. In this introductory book of the series, we meet Reed and Aisling who are brought together in their desire to save the beloved Hawthorne trees. There is instant chemistry between them when they meet, but both fight it as there’s nothing they can do about it as they literally live in different worlds. Sometimes the stories you heard as a child were not as they first appeared, and as an adult you have to learn the difference between the creatures that live in the light and the dark.
